Meet Veronica
Hi! I’m Veronica (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
I studied Human Development and Family Sciences at Oregon State University and earned my Master of Social Work from Portland State University. I’ve worked in group practice, community mental health, school-based programs, and advocacy organizations. I’m especially passionate about supporting BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients, while creating a space where people of all identities and backgrounds feel welcome. As a first-generation Mexican American, my own experiences shape how I show up in this work, and I strive to offer care that is culturally responsive, grounded in social justice, and identity-affirming.
I primarily work with teens and adults who are facing moments of change, challenge, or uncertainty. You might be dealing with anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, figuring out your identity, or navigating relationships. Therapy with me is a space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on, and feel more connected to yourself. My hope is to be a steady, supportive presence as we move through that work together.
When I’m not in session, you can find me crafting something new, reading a good book, or spending time with my loved ones.
