If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I can provide a monthly statement called a “superbill,” that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs, like dates of sessions, the services provided, and fees charged, so you can request reimbursement directly from them.
While I can’t guarantee reimbursement, many clients with out-of-network mental health benefits are able to receive partial reimbursement this way.
-
Insurance benefits can vary, so I recommend checking directly with your plan to understand your coverage, out-of-network reimbursement options, and any deductibles requirements.

As part of the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of your therapy.
This estimate outlines the expected charges for services if you don’t have insurance or are choosing not to use it, so you know what to expect before we begin.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate at any time before starting or during treatment.
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge. Be sure to save a copy of your estimate for your records.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
