My Approach

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in compassion. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences, build insight and self-understanding, and learn to navigate life in ways that feel more manageable and aligned with who you are.

Relational Therapy

Healing happens in relationships, including the one we build in therapy. Together, we’ll explore patterns, communication, attachment, and the ways your experiences with others may shape how you move through the world. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported.

Understanding Your Story

The stories we carry about ourselves can deeply shape how we feel and relate to others. Together, we’ll explore those stories with curiosity and compassion, identifying strengths, making sense of painful experiences, and creating space for new perspectives.

Building Self-Compassion

Many people are far harder on themselves than they would ever be with someone they care for. Therapy can help you respond to difficult emotions, mistakes, and self-criticism with more kindness, patience, and understanding. We’ll work toward building a supportive relationship with yourself.

Mindfulness Practices

Mindfulness helps us slow down, notice what’s happening in the present moment, and respond with awareness instead of overwhelm. This might include grounding exercises, breathing practices, imagery, or other tools to help you feel more connected and calm in daily life.

Practical Tools & Support

Therapy can also include practical tools and strategies to help you navigate everyday challenges. I draw from approaches like CBT, ACT, and DBT to support emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, boundaries, and self-understanding in ways that feel supportive to you.
